50,000/- considering the price limit of the laptop, 50% of the amount or Rs.25,000/- whichever is
less will be given to the student admitted in professional or designing course.

Who will benefit under Laptop Purchase Assistance Scheme?

Special benefits are given to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students.

they will get the benefit of this scheme.
Disability: Students with Physical Divyang (disability) are also eligible to benefit from this
scheme.
Widow and Orphan: Widows and orphans are also given special benefits under this scheme.
Only the children of the students whose parents are working in factories/institutions in the
state of Gujarat and whose parents have been paying the Labor Welfare Fund for the last one
year at the local office will be eligible for the benefit of this scheme.

Eligibility for availing Laptop Purchase Assistance Scheme

Laptop Sahay Yojana 2024: Students need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to avail the
benefit of this scheme:

The student should be a permanent citizen of Gujarat state.
Educational Eligibility: Candidate should be a regular student of a recognized educational
institute/college/university of Gujarat at the time of application.
Students who have passed the Class-12 board examination and secured all over 70%
percentile or more will get the benefit of the scheme.
In the year in which the board exam has been given, the application will have to be made
within 6 (six) months after purchasing the laptop in the same year.
The laptop should be purchased in the name of the student.
Students who have taken admission abroad are not eligible to benefit from this scheme.
